Morning!! We've gone 'flower' mad today over at Penny Black Saturday :)
This week's challenge is.......
'Floral Frenzy'
We would love to see your cards/projects featuring all things floral!

I have lots of PB stamps featuring flowers but decided on this cute hedgie as I had'nt used it for a while :)
I coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and then had fun adding lots of flowers to the card.....I have used my Martha Stewart punch around the page Pansy punch to create the pretty floral border and retro punches for the gingham flowers.

Penny Black Saturday #185 - Crafty Bargains....

Morning!! Today at Penny Black Saturday we want to see cards/projects made with your crafty bargains.....did you manage to get some PB stamps in the January sales?? or maybe a crafty bargain on ebay :)

I have used a stamp I bought in the January sales from Sir Stampalot for the bargain price of £2.88, I did'nt realise how big it would be so it was a good surprise when it arrived :) I also bought 3 others ssshhhh!! but they were all under £3 so I could'nt resist :)

I have coloured the cute bunny with my promarkers and prismas as always in lovely spring colours.......it was snowing when I made this card!!

I used my retro punches for the blooms and embossing folders for texture.

The layout is this week's sketch #76 over at Everybody Art Challenge.

A nice and easy challenge today......

'Anything Goes'

I decided to make a 'birthday' card to make a start on filling up my card box so I always have a birthday card on hand when I need one :)

I dont think you can go wrong with any of the Penny Black critters and this beautiful floral hedgie is one of my favourites.....I love colouring this image!!

I have coloured as always with my promarkers and prismas and I have kept everything else simple to let the image stand out :)

The paper is from my scrap box and the sentiment is also Penny Black.

Apologies for sharing a Christmas card so soon :) .....but I have signed up for the Christmas card challenge over on the Docrafts forum again and hopefully I will do better than last year!! I made 24 out of the possible 52.......so I'm hoping to beat that this year :)

Today's card features the cute Fizzy Moon, I bought these stamps last year to use and did'nt. So I had to use them 1st this year.......I'm not the only one whose done this I hope!

Sugar Bowl #74....

A card for the current Sugar Bowl challenge today......

There's a fabulous sketch by Maria Therese to follow plus the option of 'no designer paper' :)

I have made a 'white on white' card using the gorgeous Pippi Longsocks.......coloured with my promarkers and prismas in shades of blue!

Lots of different embossing folders for texture and stickles for sparkle, the photo does'nt capture the sparkle very well!!

This card will be winging it's way soon to a 'Pippi' fan :) to say a big thank-you for some fabulous candy :)

Penny Black Saturday #183 - CASE IT.....Beth

Morning!! My 1st post of 2012 :) and a brand new challenge over at Penny Black Saturday!

We have something new and different today and it will become a regular challenge.......the 1st Saturday of each month :)

'CASE IT'.......

CASE stands for 'Copy and share everything'.......you can choose to case the whole card ~ layout etc or take elements of the card (colours, image, style etc.) to create your own interpretation of the card.

For each CASE IT challenge we will be casing a different member of the DT........every month one DT member will choose their favourite PB card for everyone to CASE.

Here is this month's inspirational card from Beth :)

I have chosen to CASE the colours ~ red, white and blue and I also loved the polka dots, stars and the doodling :)

I have used a PB teddy image called 'Joie De Vivre' and coloured as always with my promarkers and prismas. The papers I won in a candy from the lovely Michelle.

Hi everyone......hope you all had a lovely Christmas :)

I have finally managed to make it up to my craft room for a bit of crafting!! It seems ages ago since I last made a card!

I spotted these freebie stamps whilst shopping this week and they were too cute to resist! They are from this months issue of PaperCraft Inspirations.......there's a gorgeous hedgehog too and lots of mini stamps and sentiments.

I have stamped the shy little mouse and coloured with promarkers and prismas.......the t-shirt is paper pieced to coordinate with the patterned paper! The border all the way round is stamped with the mini stamps and the sentiment is from the set too :)

Morning!! It's Penny Black Saturday :) and today's challenge is.....

'Make a Tag'....

A great challenge to make some wonderful tags for your loved ones presents :)

This will be the last challenge of 2011 and will run right through till the 6th Jan and the DT will be back.....refreshed and ready to go for the 1st challenge of 2012 on the 7th January :)

I enjoyed making my tag, it's not something I have made before and once I decided which image to use I had fun adding all the little elements to finish the tag, this is going to be for my hubby's present :)

Morning!! Sorry it's been a bit quiet around here this week.....just seem to have been busy busy!!
I did find the time to make my card for this week's Penny Black Saturday challenge though :)

A favourite technique of mine as it really makes the image 'pop' and the layout is also a favourite :)

I have used a PB Slapstick stamp called 'Sweet Snowman' and it certainly is sweet!!
I have coloured with promarkers and prismas and used my cuttlebug embossing folders to create lots of texture.....with lots of glitter for sparkle :)

Canvas Class....

I've not had much time for crafting this week as the schools have been off for training but I did have a lovely day at the weekend trying something different :)

I went to a craft class at my local craft shop with the lovely Kate and made these 2 canvases for my craft area :)

I've not done anything like this before and when I saw the samples for the class I knew they would be perfect in my crafty area.......as time really does fly when I get up there :)

I got some supplies before I left so I hope to make a couple more in a different theme for presents or maybe just to keep myself!!!

Butterfly wishes....

Here is the last of my cards I made for the demo :)

I really loved this set from Hero Arts/Sizzix called 'Antique Flowers and Butterflies' and bought one to come home with me!!!

I love this layout for the butterflies......I stamped and coloured the butterflies and added lots of stickles for shiny wings and then added them to the card in rows.....lifting the wings for dimension.

I scored lines between the rows and stamped the 'best wishes' sentiment to finish :)

The kraft panel is raised on foam pads on the polka dot paper.

All White.....

Another 'penguin' card today :) I DO love these penguins.......

they are my favourite Christmas stamp this year :)

I have coloured the cuties with promarkers and prismas and made an all white card.......another favourite thing to do :) adding lots of stickles to the edges for some sparkle! Unfortunately it's such a dull day here today in Scotland it has'nt captured the full effect of sparkle! You'll have to take my word for it ;)

The white panels have been embossed with 2 different embossing folders and I have used a cuttlebug snowflake die too.

More Demo Cards....

Morning! I'm back with some more demo cards to share :)

The cards all use the new fab Stamp/Dies Sets from Hero Arts/Sizzix.

The dies cut perfectly around the stamped image.....so much easier than cutting them out, especially the fiddly antennae's!!

The images are very detailed and look great just stamped simply in coloured ink.

A CAS card, the flower image is gorgeous......it looks like an engraving.....

A little mini pizza box with matching notelets.....I really like this colour combo of teal & brown.

I have one more card to share but I will save it for another day :)

Demo Cards....

I am back tonight with some cards from the demo @ PaperCrafts Boutique, Elgin :)

Hello to all the lovely ladies who stopped by......I hope you are enjoying your purchases!!

I got to play with the new 'Framelits' from Sizzix/Hero Arts, fabulous sets of cling stamps with matching dies.....also some new embossing folders from Sizzix :)

These cards were created with the 'Floral Set' available {HERE}......the thank-you card I shared last week was also made with the same set :) The sentiments are my own stamps.

I love the bold graphic flowers in this set......and created 2 cards in very contrasting shades to show how versatile they can be!

I created this background using the leafy stamp for a vine effect for the flowers which are stamped in black on magenta coredinations card.

The dies cut beautifully and make it so easy to create quick cards :)

For this next card I stamped the flower design onto Kraft and then using the dies cut out the large flowers.....I then placed them directly under the aperture and raised the top layer with foam pads for a different effect.

Finally I shall leave you with this card......made using a new Sizzix embossing folder.....

Morning :) A 'Sketch' challenge today over at Penny Black Saturday!

I do love a good sketch and this one by DT Nat is fabulous :)

I have flipped the sketch so the little elephant would be looking at all the flowers and butterflies!

I have'nt used this cute elephant for a long time so it was time for an airing.....I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and added stickles for the centre of the flowers.

More stickles round the image and on the flowers and butterflies :)

Lots of pink!! and I have used the MFT mini rolled roses die to create the flowers.

Pippi Longsocks....

My entry for the current SugarBowl challenge #70.....

a fab sketch by Maria Therese with the option of 'Clean & Simple'.

I have used 'Pippi Longsocks' from the new Fairy Glen release at Sugar Nellie and coloured using my promarkers with a little prisma pencil for shading.

I have kept it simple by using no patterned papers......just embossing a piece of white cardstock with a swirly embossing folder.

The swirls are a punch.....I did struggle a little with this element of the sketch but I think it works? and to finish I doodled a frame around the image with a black fine-liner :)

Morning!
A 'SPOOKY' challenge today over at Penny Black Saturday :)
We would love to see your 'too cute to spook' cards and projects!!

I have used a PB Slapstick stamp called.....'Treatin Witch' and coloured using my promarkers and prismas.
I love Halloween colours and enjoyed colouring in shades of purple, orange and green! I have embossed the purple strip with a Sizzix spider web and added a little spider :)
I have done lots of distressing on the card too!

Sweet Delia....

Today I have inked up one of my new Fairy Glen stamps from Sugar Nellie :)

I bought some of these cuties before I went on holiday and could'nt wait to get one stamped and coloured when I got back!!

This sweet fairy is called 'Delia' and I have coloured the image with promarkers with a little prisma pencil for shading......the papers are all scraps from my scrap box and I have used my new MFT mini Rolled Roses die to make the little roses.

The layout is Sketch #123 from Sweet Sketch Wednesday, just made it in time :)

Penny Black Saturday #173 ~ On the Move....

Morning!! I'm back from my break away to the lovely West Coast of Scotland.....had a fabulous time, visited lots of new places and had good weather too :)

So onto this week's challenge from Penny Black Saturday, the theme is.....
'On the Move'
You can interpret this in many ways ~ transport, moving cards etc......check out all the DT cards {HERE} for inspiration :)

I have made a tiny card using my nesties to create a little card blank and used one of my favourite Mimi stamps to decorate :)

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas to coordinate with the cardstock colours and simply layered up the design using my nestie circles, finishing with the tiny flowers and a sentiment.

The DT showcased digi images from Krista of Saturated Canary on all their beautiful cards so I had to check them out {HERE} and chose this beautiful image called Neveah for my card :)

Morning! A great challenge this week from Penny Black Saturday :)

AGE.....IS JUST A NUMBER!

We want to see you using a number on your cards.....for any birthday not just special birthdays.

Our lovely team-mate Nat has been celebrating a special birthday this week :) Happy 21st Nat!!!!

I have created a card for my little nephew Oscar, who will be 6 next week......he loves cats so I decided to make a CAS card featuring this fab fat cat called 'Fly with Me'.

I coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and chalked in the sky background. To finish I have added the number in the kite and stamped the sentiment :)

Penguins in Sepia....

I'm back with another sample card :)

For this card I tried a new technique for me.....inking up an embossing folder before running through the machine to create a different effect.

I used some buff coredinations card and inked up the inside of the folder using a very similiar colour ink.....Cookie Crumb by Stampin Up for a tone on tone look.

I really like the effect :) It would look great using a bright ink and white card for a bolder look.

I went for the softer look as I had already coloured the adorable penguins from Sugar Nellie in sepia tones for a different look to my last penguin card :)

I have used 3 promarkers.....satin, tan and cinnamon along with my sepia prisma pencil.

The card shape is a kriss kross card and I added a diecut snowflake and lovely wooden button to finish :)

Hi......I'm back with one of the samples I made for the Christmas demo day at Papercrafts Boutique, Elgin :)

It was a very busy day and I'd just like to say a big thank-you to all the lovely crafters who visited.

I hope you were inspired to start your Christmas projects by myself and the lovely Erika :)

I decided to make something a little different and had a go at a Tealight card....I have seen these on lots of crafting blogs and I think they make a wonderful little gift idea :)

I have coloured the Gorjuss girl stamp with promarkers and prismas and the papers are 'Christmas Joy' by First Edition.

Furry Friends....

Another Christmas card today :)

I started a challenge way back in January on the Docrafts forum to make a christmas card a week! Well I have failed miserably!!!! This card is no. #13......I should be on #39 (tut tut)

But I will keep creating in the hope I will catch up a little :)

Well onto this card.....the layout is this week's fab sketch from PaperTakeWeekly....

The image is 'Furry Friends' from Sugar Nellie and I have coloured with promarkers, the cardstock layers have all been embossed and sanded and I have added the gorgeous pom-pom trim to echo the scalloped element of the sketch.

Lots of glitter and some bling to finish :)

You've got to love these penguins from Sugar Nellie! So cute :)

I love the fair-isle scarf keeping them both warm and cosy!!

I have coloured the penguins with promarkers and prismas and used some gorgeous glittery papers from First Edition called 'Festive Treats'.

The layout is this week's great sketch from Sketch & Stash #71 ~ my new stash is the penguin stamp and the diecut shape behind them is from my new set of Nesting Dies from Do-Crafts.

Morning! Penny Black Saturday is here again :) and today's challenge is......

'Monochrome'.....

Create a card using shades of one colour :)

I decided to have a go at colouring an image all in browns too as I knew I had these lovely brown papers from Stampin' Up. I have coloured the image with promarkers as always in 4 different shades, adding extra shadow with a prisma pencil.

It was quite tricky to colour using but I did enjoy it!!!

A 'girly' Christmas card today....

I have used another stamp from the new release at Sugar Nellie called 'Knitted with Love'....so sweet!

I have coloured it in non traditional colours of green, pink and blue using my promarkers and prismas :)

The papers are from an 'old' Papermania pad I have had a looong time....I am trying to use up some of my paper mountain :)

I must confess I bought this lovely Fizzy Moon bear back in March and this is the 1st time I've used him!!

I have coloured the bear image with promarkers and decided to go with an autumnal colour combo as it definitely feels like Autumn is here in Scotland :) Not that I mind.....I love Autumn!

Today's card is something a little different for me :)

All stamping and no colouring!!
I have made a twisted easel card using no patterned papers and just some embossing for texture :)

The gorgeous stamps are from a Christmas set by Inkadinkado and I have used an all red & white colour scheme which reminds me of a Scandinavian/Folk art look.
The snowflake border is a Martha Stewart punch.

Morning! A fun challenge this week at Penny Black Saturday :)

'Make a Scene'....

I really enjoyed making my card this week, once I decided I wanted to create a Christmas scene.....I had great fun masking all the elements together and even did a cloud background with chalk which is a 1st for me and I think it finished it off nicely :)

I have used 5 different stamps to create the winter wonderland.....the little hedgie, sentiment and reindeer/santa flying are from the transparent set - Best Day Ever....

the teddy is Christmas Tree Ted 4015K & the trees are Snow Dust 4102K.

The images are coloured with promarkers with a little prisma pencil for shading :)

Embossed Christmas & Squiggle News....

Well it's my 1st post of September :) I really hope to blog more this month.....my posts have certainly been dwindling!!! I am always busy, busy at the moment!!

Today's Christmas card is a sample I have made for an 'Embossed Cards' class I will be teaching tomorrow at my local craft shop......Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin ~ home of Sugar Nellie Stamps :)

I have used a cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder for the background and for the gorgeous Inkadinkado wreath stamp I have heat embossed onto special mirror card suitable for heat embossing!

It's a lovely effect.....gold on gold and I added little red gems for accents.

I had a good rummage through my Penny Black stamps and found this cutie which I dont think I have ever used! I won it with another PB stamp on Ebay.....it's called 'Fairy Love' and it's from 1999!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers, used scraps of papers from my scrap box and added some embossing and then finished with the retro flowers which I have embossed also :)

Glitter Mermaid.....

Today I am sharing a very glittery card which fits in perfectly with the current challenge over at

I have used the lovely Mermaid digi image coloured with promarkers......and then the fun part!!

I have used Stampin Up's Heat & Stick powder to glitter the whole image....love this technique and I think it looks like she is underwater :) I do have glitter everywhere though!!

I enjoyed making my shabby chic card....I went for pretty vintagey papers in soft colours and distressed the edges of my mat with scissors and inked all the edges. Reminds me of an old quilt :)

I have used this gorgeous PB fishing bear image which was sent to me by a good blog friend :)

Love it! It's on my wish list now!! It's a large image and perfect for those men cards!!

I have coloured in the image with promarkers and prismas......and for the texture I have embossed the patterned paper with an argyle embossing folder, used embroidery cotton to attach the tag and I also added glitter to the fish and pearls for the bears/fish eyes!!

Penny Black Saturday #162 ~ Penny Black-Grounds....

Morning!! We have a fun challenge this week over at Penny Black Saturday :)
'Penny Black-grounds'....

Create a card/project using your PB stamps to create a background design.....I have used some tiny stamps from a PB sentiment set to stamp a design onto the patterned paper on the card.
I originally stamped a large piece of orange paper with my design but it was too busy :) so I cut off a strip and used the stripey paper as well with some motifs stamped on.

The image is coloured with promarkers and the papers are a mix from my scrap-box!

The sentiment is from the same set .....

There is something different for the prize this week too :) The lucky winner will join the team as Guest Designer for the whole of September :)

I think this is a fabulous image for summery cards, love the squirrel and the retro feel of the dress.

I have made a shaped card with my circle nestabilities, I love these little cards.....they also make great little gift tags for presents.

Morning! A brand new challenge over at Penny Black Saturday today :)

'Bunting'....

I do love bunting! it always looks so bright and cheerful and adds so much fun to any venue!

I chose this Penny Black teddy stamp today as he looks like he's ready to party with that huge pile of presents :)

I masked the top of the stamp slightly so I could stamp the bunting behind the little cute celebrating mouse.....the bunting stamps were freebies with a mag, they are by Molly Blooms.

The image is coloured with promarkers, with prismas for shading to match the plaid paper by We R Memory Keepers.

I have used the lovely 'Tea 4 Two' image.....a fabulous image for 'Friendship' or 'Cupcake' birthday cards!

I have coloured the image mainly with my prisma pencils for a change.....using promarkers for just the skin tones. The papers are oldies from Papermania, I love the purple/green colour combo.

'Christmas in July'....

I have created a CAS one layer card today using the gorgeous 'Star-inspired' stamp....I stamped it in Real Red SU ink straight onto a Kraft card blank adding a little gem in the centres.
The sentiment is also Penny Black, stamped in SU Old Olive ink.

Morning! Another quiet week from me!

It's been a hectic week....school sports day, end of term service and today is officially the start of the school hols here in Scotland :) So fingers crossed we have some good weather for the next 6 weeks!!!

Anyway onto todays challenge from Penny Black Saturday :)

'Desert Island Stamp'....

I have chosen PB's 'Buzz in the Air', the 1st PB stamp I bought and still a firm favourite :) So handy for many occasions :)

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and made a wee circle card using the largest scalloped nestie.

'Stitch it Up'...

We would love to see stitching on your cards......real or faux or maybe even a sewing related PB image or embellishments!

I had a few problems with my stitching!! and resorted to using my sewing machine with no thread in (dont ask!!) and then using the holes to handstitch the thread through!!

I do like the finished effect although it's a bit wonky!!.....worth the time I think??

I have coloured the fabulous hedgie with promarkers and prismas and the papers are K & Co. I also used my Martha Stewart zig-zag punch to represent the zig zag stitch.

Afternoon! Today I am sharing a card I have made for the Squiggle Stamps blog :)

I had a good browse through all my Squiggle images and decided to use one of the many accessory stamps available in the Squiggle shop :)

I have used the yummy 'Cupcake'.....a perfect stamp for many celebrations!

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and used bright, happy colours for the card :)

The layout is this week's sketch #195 from Mojo Monday.

There are lots of accessory stamps to coordinate with the Squiggle characters, 'Cupcake' is sized perfectly for Daisy to sit on.....but they also work well on their own.

It's 'One for the Guys' this week over at Penny Black Saturday....

A great challenge to get organised and make a 'Father's Day' card which is coming up soon here in the UK or any card for the special men in your life :)

For my card I have kept it simple and used a black & white colour combo along with the 'Joyful Abandon' Penny Black stamp :)

I love this fun image and dont use it enough!! I must admit I struggled to find a suitable stamp in my Penny Black collection (shocking I know!!) so I think I will have to be adding a couple more 'men' themed PB stamps soon :)

A 'summery' card today :) Although it's pouring with rain outside!!!

I treated myself to a new 'Simply Sassy' stamp from Sugar Nellie so had to get it inked.....I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas, it's a great image to colour :)

The papers are all freebies from a craft magazine, they are from NitWit ~ Cotton Candy Collection. Even the buttons and bow are paper.....love the effect.

I'm back with a card made with a new Penny Black stamp which I think will become a firm favourite!!

Love these cute little mice :)

I have coloured the image with the usual promarkers and prismas in bright colourful shades and used some bright card from Stampin Up which I have dry embossed and covered in clear embossing powder so it's shiny IRL, the photo has'nt captured it!!

Morning.....apologies for not posting this week!! Had a busy week.....visitors and then making the most of the mini heatwave painting all the windows outside!! I have a very rosy face today!!!

I have tried out a new colour combo of pastel blue and coral, different for me but I like it....

Penny Black Saturday #151 ~ Clean & Simple...

Morning!! A fabulous challenge today at Penny Black Saturday.....

fast becoming a favourite style of mine and many others too ~

'Clean & Simple'.....

I love white on white and embossing! and when I found these gorgeous embossed circles from Craftwork Cards....I had to have them!!

I had my layout in mind so I found a tiny Penny Black hedgie that would fit into the same size circle and then added a pink mat just to make the images pop!

The images are coloured with promarkers and I finished by adding all the pink gems :)

Morning! A brand new challenge today over at Penny Black Saturday and lots of news too :)

I have used an older Penny Black stamp called 'Hangin' Out', great fun to colour :)

I used both promarkers and prismas to colour and then went to town distressing all the edges of the mats with my scissors.....paper dust was going everywhere!!!

Afternoon from a lovely sunny Scotland :)

I have a Squiggle Stamps card to share today.....I have definitely been inspired by the lovely weather and I have created a bright, bold card featuring the cute 'Oscar with Frame'.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas.....adding faux stitching with a white gel pen around the matting :)

The stamp is very versatile as you can stamp any greeting in the little frame...so handy for all occasions!

To finish I have added my favourite embellishment for 'boy' cards......buttons!!

I really enjoyed making my card for this week's challenge.....

'Say it with Flowers'...

I used one of my favourite Penny Black teddies and coloured with promarkers and prismas in sunny colours. I have embossed the white layer with a butterfly embossing folder and the best wishes along the bottom is a sticker from SRM.

I'm still here!! Sorry for the long absence but we have lots of joiners/plumbers/electricians here at the moment in preparation for our new kitchen/flooring etc. being installed next week after the BIG flood last Christmas!!

It has taken soooo long for the insurance/quotes etc. but we are on the home straight now.....I cant wait!!!! We have'nt had a kitchen for 5 weeks now and the microwave meals lost their appeal after week 1 :)

I have coloured sweet Baby Addy with promarkers in shades of pink and grey and used a fab spotty paper I found in my stash :) Finishing with lots of small retro pink flowers with pearl centres :)

I have'nt had time to enter many challenges lately....but when I saw the sketch over at Less is More I thought it would be perfect for making a couple of clean & simple cards for sending to my mum and mil for Mothers Day :) Neither of them do cute or fussy so hopefully they will like them!!

I hope I have not gone TOO simple with the sketch but after playing around I decided this layout was the one I liked the best.....

I have stamped 'Hope your day is as special as you are' inside both the cards :)

I have used this image quite a lot this spring! it really is a great one to colour.

March Card Chain Challenge Reveal....

This month I have taken part in something new for me.....a Card Chain Challenge swap organised by the lovely Deborah over at Society of Stamp & Scrapaholics.

This fun challenge is great.... you make and send a card to the next person in the chain but you also receive a lovely handmade card from your 'sender' in the chain!

Deborah has a 'big' reveal at the beginning of the next month and you get to see all the beautiful cards which were sent all over the world :)

Penny Black Saturday #144 - Recycling...

Morning :) Saturday has rolled around very quick this week so it's time for a new challenge over

at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge :)

This week's challenge is 'RECYCLING'.....a chance to use up all those things us crafters think...oooh that would look good on a card lol!

I have used an old manila envelope which probably had a bill in! for my matting and flowers and also some string from the garage and an old button from my button box.

Check out all the DT cards {HERE} for some fab recycling ideas!

The image is coloured with promarkers and prismas for shading and I have used my retro flower punches for the flowers.....the sentiment is a SRM sticker.

I have used the fabulous sketch #157 by Deb from Cute Card Thursday for the layout.

Time for a new colour challenge over at By LORi Designs :)

A fab, bright colour combo today....perfect for all LORi's fun digi designs!

I have used the *new* Gabbi digi image from the PuddleJumpers range....so cute!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas for shading to coordinate with the colour challenge and the dotty papers are We r Memory Keepers.

I have used the fab sketch #120 over at Card Positioning Systems for the layout.....great sketch, I love it's clean, bold design.

Penny Black Saturday #143 - 'Spring has Sprung'....

Morning :) To celebrate the 1st day of spring tomorrow, this week's challenge from

Penny Black Saturday is......

'Spring has Sprung'

I decided to go with lovely fresh spring colours of yellow & green like my favourite spring flower, the daffodil.

I have used a gorgeous PB image a crafty friend sent me called 'Yearning' and placed a paper flower on top of the stamped flower.

The image is coloured with promarkers and I have added glitter all round the circle :)

There is a fabulous Penny Black stamp for this week's prize....generously donated by Carol and so apt for this week's theme :)

A card featuring a *new* PuddleJumper digi image called 'Darla'

from LORi Boyd Designs today :)

Love this new cutie with her wavy hair!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and mounted it onto a couple of ovals cut with my Nellie Snellen dies, I have embossed the blue one for more dimension.

I have used the fab sketch #57 from Sketch & Stash for the layout....my new stash is the image :)

Demo Day with Fizzy Moon....

I had a fabulous day over at the PaperCrafts Boutique in Elgin on Saturday demoing the cute range of Fizzy Moon stamps......it was great to see and meet so many local crafters.....hello to you all if you are visiting my blog :)
Lots of photos to share!!

I love my 'cute' stamps and this new range from Dovecraft is fab.....such a cute bear and gorgeous papers, ribbons/brads/decoupage/chipboard and die-cuts to match!!

I really enjoyed making the samples and colouring in the bears with my promarkers :)
I tried to make a few different things too, a double easel card, a shadow box card, corner bookmark and a wine tag!

The samples below are Fizzy Moon stamps and the 'Sugar & Spice' pad from Dovecraft.

Here is the wine tag on display in the shop....I did'nt take my camera so I have 'borrowed' this photo from the Sugar Nellie blog!

I am going to be doing 2 classes at the shop....Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin on the 26th March.

A morning class with the Fizzy Moon range starting @ 10.30am
