Daisy with Flowers....

My card for the Passion for Promarkers colour challenge this week of all the purples - lilac, lavender, amethyst and aubergine. The layout I have used is this weeks fab sketch #66 from the girls at Sketch Saturday.

I have used another of the sweet 'Daisy' range from Squiggle Stamps. 'Daisy with flowers' is coloured with all the purples :0) along with Blush & Ivory for the skin and Sandstone, Cocoa and Cinnamon for the hair.

The papers are Papermania Spring Burst and I made the flowers with my trusty retro punches and coredinations cardstock lightly sanded.

Daisy sitting Pretty....

My card for this week's sketch challenge from Carole over at FridaySketchers. I have used 'Daisy sitting pretty' just one of the 'Daisy' range from Squiggle Stamps. Check out the website HERE to see the whole set and look out for some new Daisy & Oscar releases soon :0) I've had a sneaky peek and they are gorgeous!!

The paper is lovely and pearly but it does'nt show on the photo!! and is by Crafts House. Daisy is coloured with promarkers and I made the flowers with my retro punches.

Cute Cupcake Mouse....

A card for this week's birthday celebrations over at Cupcake Craft Challenges. The challenge is 'something sweet' with an option to use a cupcake! There's a blop hop to take part in too for lots of great prizes from the DT :0)

The layout is sketch #17 from the girls over at Sketch and Stash :0)

I have used a new Whiff of Joy image recieved in a swap, thanks Dei! I have coloured with my prisma's for a change! and the papers are a mix of American Crafts and DCWV. I have finished with a glittery chipboard flower and the sentiment.

BOO! and Exciting News.......

A card for 2 challenges :0) I have used Bea's sketch #65 for Friday Sketchers along with the colour combo of prussian and pumpkin and theme of 'halloween' from the girls at Passion for Promarkers.

I have used the following colours -

Skin - Ivory and Blush

Hair - Warm Greys 1 - 4

Clothes - Prussian and Pumpkin

Broomstick - Sandstone and Cocoa

The papers are Bo Bunny and Daisy Bucket and the Boo sentiment is Papermania foam stickers.

Now onto the exciting news!! I have been asked by Tracy at Squiggle Stamps to join the DT!!! I was thrilled to be asked and of course said 'YES please'!!

Squiggle Stamps is a new stamp company launched this summer featuring unique, cute and whimsical stamps designed by talented illustrators.

This cute wee 'Daisy' witch is a sneaky peek of just one of the new stamps to be released in September.

Purple pixie...

My card for this week's sketch challenge from Stamp With Fun. The sketch is by Kimba Slydog and I love it! and will certainly use it again :0) Thanks Kimba x

I have used another cute pixie from 'All that Scraps' coloured with promarkers in the following -

Skin - Ivory & Blush

Hair - Warm Greys 1 - 4

Clothes and Wings - Lilac, Lavender and Amethyst and I have stickled her wings too!

The papers are Papermania 'Spring Burst' love these colours together :0) and I have embossed the circle with a SpellBinders Impressabilities plate called 'Butterfly'. The sentiment is (sshhh!) a peeloff!! it fitted perfectly :0)

DS went back to school yesterday so I hope to get back in the swing of my favourite challenges and have a few more cards to share soon ;0)

My 1st Trifold Shutter card!!

As I mentioned on my last post I made my 1st Trifold Shutter card on Friday especially for my good neighbours who got married yesterday :0)

I've wanted to make one of these for ages but thought they looked too TRICKY! Well I followed the instructions over on SplitcoastStampers and I was pleasantly surprised :0) It all came together quite quickly!

I used some very pearly papers from Paper Adventures (you cant tell in the photo!) and as I dont have any wedding stamps I have used some Forever Friends stickers along with some DCWV clear stickers for the love quotes.

I can see me making more of these!! Why not have a go yourself if you have'nt made one before? Let me know if you do so I can take a peek :0)

Passion for Promarkers #12

Back to the challenges after my hols :0) and I've started with my favourite 'Passion for Promarkers'. Natalie has set the challenge this week, a gorgeous colour combo of Cocoa and Rose Pink, one of my fav's!

I have coloured this cute pixie with the following -

Hair & Boots - Cocoa

Dress - Blossom & Rose Pink

Wings - Ruby with stickles on top!

Skin - Ivory & Blush

The papers were freebies from Crafts Beautiful I think? and I've added some little heart gems and ribbon to finish.

I've also made my 1st Trifold shutter card today, was not as hard as I thought! I will share over the weekend :0)

Back from my Summer Break :0)

Well I'm back!! We have had a super busy and fun time this last 3 weeks or so holidaying in Northumbria, catching up with family and friends back in Yorkshire and then my mum decided to come back with us for a week too so there has been no crafting done really apart from the above card, a last-minute order when I returned from my hols! simple but pretty I think :0)

I must say I've enjoyed my little break from crafting but I'm raring to go again now! and with DS starting back at school next Tuesday (the hols have flown by) I'll have a bit more time again!

Before I forget I must mention that I've been given a couple of awards too whilst I've been away from Andie and Marianne, big Thank-you's to you both for thinking of me :) I have added them to my sidebar. I am going to pass them both on to Claire, a fellow crafter & blogger who I recently met up with :0) Hi Claire!!

And also just wanted to say a quick Hello! to Elisa too. Noticed you've become a follower Elisa :0) How are you? we have'nt chatted for so long! My e-mail is on my profile page if you want to drop me a line x
