Snow Days....

Just a little something to share today :)

I have been busy enjoying the winter wonderland that is Scotland!!

The schools are off tomorrow again too, so that's the 4th day off for DS! He's not complaining though!

I have made these quick tags for my nieces & nephews Christmas presents....

 I have used cute Daisy & Oscar images from Squiggle Stamps, colouring them with promarkers.

All the papers are from my scrap box, a great way to use up your scraps!

I will make more tags for all my presents if I have time!

Penny Black Saturday #129 - Monochrome Christmas...

A new challenge today from Penny Black Saturday :)

{Monochrome Christmas}

Another handy challenge to get all your Christmas cards made!!

I have used the lovely 'Snow Dust' stamp from Penny Black - a very versatile stamp which can be used all year round really.

No colouring for this card!! I got out my white sparkly embossing powder and heat gun for this creation....not used them in a long time!!

The dry embossing with snowflake detail on the card is inspired by the wonderful Kathy from the Daily Marker :)

I saw this gorgeous embossing folder used by Kathy on her blog and had to have it!!

I have embossed the snowflakes too and added clear gems to the trees and snow.

Another Christmas card today :)

I have used this fab LOTV Father Christmas stamp and coloured with my promarkers.... adding some glitter to the snow and his hat!

We have lots of snow here today!! and my son has had his 1st snow day off school! We dont usually have snow days until after Christmas! but he has enjoyed sledging this morning and messing about in the snow!

We will see what tomorrow brings!

WOYWW #77....

A little peek at what I've been up to these last few days :)

I have been busy making a Christmas card order :) A simple design but still takes a lot of time when you are making 45 of them!!! Especially the ribbon bows....so fiddly!

My cuttlebug certainly got a workout and a little crafty parcel arrived yesterday, more folders for the cuttlebug! Cant wait to use them :)

This is what my desk looks like this morning.....Do check out all the desks over at Julia's Stamping Ground :)

It's a great resource for getting ideas for crafty storage!

I am a tidy crafter most of the time!! and like to tidy up after each project :) One day I'll share the mess I make mid way through!!

It has been snowing here since early this morning so the velux window is half covered with snow!!

After sharing my little craft area last week #76, I mentioned my craft wardrobe...

So here is the view of the crafty wardrobe from my desk :)

Just Cute Bears & Friends #40 - Winter Birthday...

My card for the new challenge from Just Cute Bears & Friends :)

This fortnight we would love to see cards/projects for a winter birthday.....remember you can use any animal image now as well as all your 'cute' bears!

I have used this adorable LOTV bear doing plenty of birthday shopping!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers to match the papers which are Christmas papers from Dovecraft but there are lots of patterns which are suitable for all year round :) Great value for money!

I have used a favourite but neglected Christmas hedgie stamp and coloured the image with my promarkers. The papers are some old ones from Stampin Up.

The red felt star I found in my stash, it's amazing what you forget you have!!

WOYWW #76 and Candy :)

No card today! I have been crafting... making my DT cards for later in the week but cant share just yet :)

So for a change I thought I would share my workdesk/crafting area and enter the WOYWW challenge!!

I often browse through all the entries on Julia's regular Wednesday post {HERE} but have'nt taken part so far :)

So here is my craft area :)

 My desk :) You can just see one of the cards I made today on the right!

I did tidy up a little after making my cards so it's quite tidy :)

The other side of my craft area, I craft in the little alcove of the spare bedroom!! It's just big enough and there's usually good light from the 2 velux windows :) Not today though, it's pouring down!

The rest of my craft stash is under the bed and I have converted one side of the sliding wardrobe into craft storage, I will share that another time :)

Daisy Window Card...

Afternoon!! Here is the card I made for my regular spot on the Squiggle Stamps blog :)

I wanted to try something different for a change and found this tutorial for a tent card over at SplitCoastStampers {HERE}

Daisy with Flowers is one of my favourite Squiggle Stamps and I have coloured her with promarkers, creating a little garden scene in the window using my Martha Stewart pansy punch and some butterflies!

I enjoyed trying something *new* and will make one of these cards again, it was quicker than I thought to make!!

Penny Black Saturday #127 - All my Favourite Things....

Time for a new challenge from Penny Black Saturday :)
This week we would love you to use your Favourite Things to create your card/project!
I really enjoyed making my card and actually found it quite hard to decide on my favourite things.... there are so many lol!!
I have gone for one of my favourite PB stamps - this cute hedgie called 'Buzz in the Air' was the 1st PB stamp I ever bought!
A fav. colour combo of pink and brown and polka dots :)
Of course I love my punches and ribbon and pearls too!!!!

Sweet Snowman...

A card using one of my favourite snowman stamps from Penny Black :)

I love this 'cute' cuddly snowman!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers in icy colours, the shading is done with icy greys, I think I may go over some of it with glitter to add a little more sparkle!!

The aqua dotty paper is very glittery IRL and there are shimmer dots in the centre of the snowflakes.

Hanglar Christmas...

A 'Hanglar' card today :)

I have a little stash of these images stamped for me by a good blog buddy :) and they dont get used very often!! I tend to save them!!!

So today I decided to use one and this is what I came up with......I have coloured the gorgeous image in with promarkers, cutting it out to sit in the frame.

The little Christmas round sentiment was a freebie from Janet over at Pink Gem, thanks Janet x

All White and a Sneaky Peek....

Today's card features a brand *new* image! Available soon from Squiggle Stamps :)

The image is a cute addition to the Fenella & Friends range, I love it especially the wee dog hitching a ride!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers and added some shading with my prisma pencils. I have kept the card all white except the image, a technique I love as it really lets the image shine :)

All the edges are glittered and also Fenella's pompom and trims!

Just Cute Bears & Friends #39 - Black, White + 1...

A colour combo challenge today from Just Cute Bears & Friends :)

Black, White and 1 other colour.... I went for pink!

I have used a Forever Friends cutie and coloured using my cool grey promarkers. The bear is popped up on 3-d foam pads, as is the black panel so there is quite a lot of dimension :)

Penny Black Saturday #126 - Let it Snow...

A new challenge today from Penny Black Saturday - 'Let it Snow',
a great theme to get ahead with all your Christmas cards!!
I have used a cute Mimi stamp called 'Gift of Giving' and coloured the image with promarkers to match the bright papers from Colorbok.
I have added lots of shimmer dots for snow and also in the centre of all the snowflakes :) The snowflakes and sentiment are from the 'Crystalline' transparent set.

Another Sweet Pea creation....

A card today featuring the 2nd Sweet Pea stamp I bought the other week.

I think this is an older one and I had been after it for a while, it was always out of stock!! so had to grab it while I could :)

I have coloured the image with promarkers - I took inspiration from the stamp packet for her lilac hair!!

The butterfly is popped up on 3-d foam pads.

There are quite a few challenges I can enter with this one :) so here goes....

Simply Sassy...

A quick card today featuring one of the new 'Simply Sassy' range from Sugar Nellie.

I had great fun colouring in this image at the weekend! so many colour combo's would look fab with this stamp :)

I did'nt have any challenges in mind whilst colouring but luckily for me today's challenge from -
