I have used the adorable Mimi with Cupcake for my card and decided to layer up the cupcake a couple of times to add more dimension.

The image is coloured with promarkers and all the papers are by DCWV.

For this very 'pink' card I have used a cute digi image called 'Snowflake Daisy' from Squiggle Stamps....

Penny Black Saturday #135 - January Sales....

My card for this week's challenge from Penny Black Saturday :)

'January Sales'....use your bargains on your cards!

I have used a sweet PB teddy image for my card and my bargains are the embossing folders I have used....I love embossing folders and I bought 5 new sets in the mega Sizzix sale over the New Year, they were reduced so much I just could'nt resist!!!

I have coloured the adorable bear with promarkers and I used no dp's as I wanted to show the embossing clearly.....finished with some cute polka flowers and gems and a craftworks sentiment.

A sunny Sugar Nellie card today :)

I coloured in this image last week and only got round to making it into a card today!

I have coloured 'Hippie Chick' in shades of yellow/orange promarkers and the dp is a sheet from the Papermania Capsule collection.

Penny Black Saturday #134 - Card Buffet.....

A little something different for this week's challenge from Penny Black Saturday....

A 'Card Buffet'...

I really enjoyed making my card for this 'pick & mix' challenge!

I have made another Christmas card!! I stamped this gorgeous Penny Black festive teddy I managed to get in the sales before Christmas and coloured the image with promarkers and the papers are Doodlebug again!!

I am also entering my card into Snoflakes Christmas Challenge over on the Docrafts forum
& Winter Wonderland's 'Paws for Thought' challenge :)

I went for patterned paper, ribbon, 3 buttons and twine :)

Forever Friends Christmas....

I know what you're thinking....Christmas already!!!! Well I have joined in with a fab challenge over on the Docrafts site to make a Christmas card a week for the whole year in a bid to have enough handmade cards at Christmas for all my crafty friends and family.

So this is the card I made for Week 1!!

Penny Black Saturday #133 - New Beginnings...

Time for the 1st challenge of 2011 from Penny Black Saturday :)

'New Beginnings'

A great challenge for the New Year and there's bumper prizes to be won this week too!!!

I have used a sweet little Penny Black stamp called 'Basket Case'....the image is small and so is the card!!

I have used blossom nesties to make the card base, layering up with embossed and patterned papers, the cute teddy is 3-d as well to create more dimension...I have finished with 3 wee heart gems.

Birthday Rock!!

A card to share today which I made for my son's birthday....he's 9 today!! Cannot believe how time flies!

This fab Sugar Nellie image was perfect for his card as his main present is a junior electric guitar and amp!! I just need to invest in some earphones :)

I have coloured the image with promarkers and the papers are mix from my scrapbox.

I have followed Marlene's wonderful sketch #50 over at the Sugar Bowl and inc. the optional extra of embossing.

The Sugar Bowl is celebrating their 2nd birthday and there are 2 fab prizes to be won!!

Well that's all for today.. I have a jelly and cake to make for his birthday tea tonight :)

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everyone :)

My 1st post of 2011!

I cant believe it's so long since I last posted or even crafted!! It has been a hectic couple of weeks!

We had a lovely Christmas away with family but unfortunately came back to a bit of a disaster! A BIG water leak from a burst pipe and quite a lot of damage but nothing that cant be fixed so not so bad :)

So I have quite a few cards to make to say huge thanks to all the neighbours and friends who have helped us out in the chaos....so here is my 1st one :)

I have used a cute Hanglar image from a bloggy friend :) and a new Papermania Kraft card blank I treated myself to before Christmas.

I managed to have a quick hop round all the challenges so I am entering my card into the following....
