Penny Black Saturday #153 ~ 'One for the Girls'....

It's Saturday already!! So time for a new challenge over at Penny Black Saturday :)

This week it's 'One for the Girls'....

I have used a Penny Black Slapstick stamp called.....'Rain or Shine'

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and kept the rest of the card simple to let the image shine! I have simply layered up the image on some colour coordinating scraps from my overflowing scrap box.....finishing with some bling :)

Penny Black Saturday #152 ~ Fussy and Fancy....

Morning! It's a new challenge over at Penny Black Saturday!

 After last week's Clean and Simple challenge we now have.....

'Fussy & Fancy'....

A chance to put anything you want on your cards and projects :)

I am not really a fussy and fancy cardmaker!! but I have added lots of layers on my card and lots of pattern and colours :)

The sweet 'Mimi' image is coloured with promarkers and prismas and I have used a sketch from a new challenge site called - Deconsructing Jen ~ this is sketch #2.

The lovely prize this week for one lucky winner is this Penny Black stamp - Winsome....

Cupcakes for You....

A card featuring the cute 'Cupcake Chef Daisy' from Squiggle Stamps today :)

Love this stamp....perfect for many celebrations!

I have tried out a new colour combo of pastel blue and coral, different for me but I like it....

The image is coloured with promarkers and prismas to match the cardstock/paper.

I have used the fab sketch #155 from Sketch Saturday for the layout and I am also entering the

'Anything Goes' challenge #152 over at a Spoonfull of Sugar.

Penny Black Saturday #151 ~ Clean & Simple...

Morning!! A fabulous challenge today at Penny Black Saturday.....

fast becoming a favourite style of mine and many others too ~

'Clean & Simple'.....

I love white on white and embossing! and when I found these gorgeous embossed circles from Craftwork Cards....I had to have them!!

I had my layout in mind so I found a tiny Penny Black hedgie that would fit into the same size circle and then added a pink mat just to make the images pop!

The images are coloured with promarkers and I finished by adding all the pink gems :)



This week's prize is a fabulous $20 voucher to spend at 1-2-3-Stitch for one lucky winner :)

Penny Black Saturday #150 ~ Distressing....

Morning! A brand new challenge today over at Penny Black Saturday and lots of news too :)

This week's theme is 'Distressing'....

I have used an older Penny Black stamp called 'Hangin' Out', great fun to colour :)

I used both promarkers and prismas to colour and then went to town distressing all the edges of the mats with my scissors.....paper dust was going everywhere!!!

Something a bit different today for the challenge over at By LORi Designs....

I have used the cute 'Hazel' from the Bug & Roo range and coloured the image to match the bright floral paper with promarkers. The sentiment is inc. with the image :)

To finish I have added the floral detail and the tiny gems.

I enjoyed making this card :) I have not been crafting very much as we are still busy with the kitchen!! Just the finishing touches now.....cant wait till it's all finished :)
