Morning!! It's the last of our Christmas Month challenges today over at Penny Black Saturday :)

I have used a favourite Christmas PB stamp called 'Royal Mail' and coloured as always with promarkers and prismas.

The layout follows the 'simple sketch' challenge over at Penny Black Inc.

Canvas Class....

I've not had much time for crafting this week as the schools have been off for training but I did have a lovely day at the weekend trying something different :)

I went to a craft class at my local craft shop with the lovely Kate and made these 2 canvases for my craft area :)

I've not done anything like this before and when I saw the samples for the class I knew they would be perfect in my crafty area.......as time really does fly when I get up there :)

I got some supplies before I left so I hope to make a couple more in a different theme for presents or maybe just to keep myself!!!

Morning!! Cant believe we are up to 'Week 3' of our Christmas month already!! November is flying by :)

This week the challenge is ~

I have used this cute ted from Penny Black who's just been to pick up his Christmas tree in the snow :)

The image is coloured as always with promarkers and prismas and I have chalked in the snow clouds!!

Butterfly wishes....

Here is the last of my cards I made for the demo :)

I really loved this set from Hero Arts/Sizzix called 'Antique Flowers and Butterflies' and bought one to come home with me!!!

I love this layout for the butterflies......I stamped and coloured the butterflies and added lots of stickles for shiny wings and then added them to the card in rows.....lifting the wings for dimension.

I scored lines between the rows and stamped the 'best wishes' sentiment to finish :)

The kraft panel is raised on foam pads on the polka dot paper.

All White.....

Another 'penguin' card today :) I DO love these penguins.......

they are my favourite Christmas stamp this year :)

I have coloured the cuties with promarkers and prismas and made an all white card.......another favourite thing to do :) adding lots of stickles to the edges for some sparkle! Unfortunately it's such a dull day here today in Scotland it has'nt captured the full effect of sparkle! You'll have to take my word for it ;)

The white panels have been embossed with 2 different embossing folders and I have used a cuttlebug snowflake die too.

Sugar Nellie Showcase!!!

Morning! Well this is a rare Sunday post from me but today is an exciting day......

 as I am in the Sugar Nellie Showcase {HERE}!!!

I was over the moon when the lovely Elaine asked me to take part.......thank you Elaine x

I love my Sugar Nellie stamps :) especially the new Christmas & Fairy Glen collections and decided to use the adorable 'Knitted With Love' stamp for today's card.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas to coordinate with the papers......adding lots of stickles to her wings and trims :)

I am thrilled to be in the 'spotlight' today :) and I hope you like my card x

More Demo Cards....

Morning! I'm back with some more demo cards to share :)

The cards all use the new fab Stamp/Dies Sets from Hero Arts/Sizzix.

The dies cut perfectly around the stamped image.....so much easier than cutting them out, especially the fiddly antennae's!!

The images are very detailed and look great just stamped simply in coloured ink.



A CAS card, the flower image is gorgeous......it looks like an engraving.....

A little mini pizza box with matching notelets.....I really like this colour combo of teal & brown.

I have one more card to share but I will save it for another day :)

Demo Cards....

I am back tonight with some cards from the demo @ PaperCrafts Boutique, Elgin :)

Hello to all the lovely ladies who stopped by......I hope you are enjoying your purchases!!

I got to play with the new 'Framelits' from Sizzix/Hero Arts, fabulous sets of cling stamps with matching dies.....also some new embossing folders from Sizzix :)

These cards were created with the 'Floral Set' available {HERE}......the thank-you card I shared last week was also made with the same set :) The sentiments are my own stamps.

I love the bold graphic flowers in this set......and created 2 cards in very contrasting shades to show how versatile they can be!

I created this background using the leafy stamp for a vine effect for the flowers which are stamped in black on magenta coredinations card.

The dies cut beautifully and make it so easy to create quick cards :)

For this next card I stamped the flower design onto Kraft and then using the dies cut out the large flowers.....I then placed them directly under the aperture and raised the top layer with foam pads for a different effect.

Finally I shall leave you with this card......made using a new Sizzix embossing folder.....

Penny Black Saturday #176 ~ Silver & Snow/Snowflakes...

Morning!!

It's Penny Black Saturday and for the month of November we are going to be celebrating 'Christmas'.......
Christmas will be the theme every week with a little something extra each time :)
This week's challenge is......
'Christmas inc. silver and snow/snowflakes'

I have used the gorgeous 'Snow Dust' stamp and heat embossed it in silver, adding lots of bling for sparkle.......the sentiment is Penny Black also embossed in silver.

Thank You....

   Evening!! It's been a quiet week here on my blog but I HAVE been busy getting samples ready for a demo on Saturday at my local craft shop.....PaperCrafts Boutique in Elgin :)

Here's a sample card I have made.....a different style to my usual 'cute' but I really enjoyed making it!

I am going to be playing with some *NEW* products just on the market......So do pop in if you are local :) The lovely Erika is demonstrating too so it will be a busy day with lots of crafting and some very special offers :)
