CAS for Whimsy....

Morning!! I am thrilled to be Guest Designer over at Whimsy Inspirational Challenges today :)

The theme this week is......

'Summer Fun'

and as GD I got to choose a digi to work with :) I chose this fab image called 'Icecream Love' from the Lia Stampz range over at the Whimsy store.

Perfect image for the summer :) She looks like she is really enjoying her neopolitan icecream :)

I have coloured the image as always with promarkers and prismas and I have gone for a CAS look to let the image shine.......just adding a Penny Black sentiment and some pink gems to finish :)

Sweet Hedgie...

A sweet Hedgie card today......not my usual Penny Black but a Sugar Nellie release

 called 'Sweet Success'.

I'm still not sure on the colouring?? but I did enjoy colouring in the image with my promarkers and prismas and it would be a shame not to use it :) Love the little mouse friend!!

I have used scraps of spotty paper from my scrap box and made the flowers with my retro flower punches.

Monochromatic....

I've been playing with the free Whimsy stamps from Papercraft Essentials again......this time using this lovely fairy stamp, so pretty!

I have coloured the image with promarkers adding prismas for shading all in shades of lilac :) 

The lilac papers are all from Papermania.....a couple of different ranges I think??

Flowers and pearls from my stash and I have also used my new fancy corner die from Whimsy.....I kept seeing this die around blogland and I had to have it!!! A fab set of 4 corner dies at a great price :)

'Summertime.....and the living is easy

I have used this cute PB Bear called 'Raining Daisies'.........I couldn't resist using this cutie with umbrella as it's been a pretty soggy summer here in the UK so far!! I'd much prefer it if it was raining daisies!!

I have used a sheet of My Minds Eye paper in lovely summery colours and coloured the image with my promarkers and prismas.

In Bloom.....

Well it's the 1st of July and raining again here in my little corner of Scotland......so I have been crafting!!

I picked up these freebie stamps from Whimsy a couple of weeks ago....they were in Papercraft Essentials and I could'nt resist them, so cute!! Two large character stamps and lots of sentiments and accessory stamps too :)

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and used some papers from my scrap box, the sentiment is from the set too :)

I am entering my card into ~
