I Love Promarkers #141 ~ Cute!

Morning! It's a 'CUTE' challenge this week over at I Love Promarkers :)

I have used this cute cupcake kitty, printing the image quite large to be the main focus of my card. I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas. The icing I have paper-pieced :)

I Love Promarkers #140 - Christmas is Coming...

Morning! Another Christmas card to share with you today :)

Over at I Love Promarkers this week the challenge is.....

'Christmas is Coming'

I have used one of my favourite hedgies from the Penny Black transparent set called 'Best Day Ever'.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and the sketch is from 'Page Maps'. The stitched paper is from the new paper pad from Docrafts called 'Home for Christmas'.

I love CAS sketches like this one leaving some white space :)

Anything but a Card Christmas & Snowflakes....

Hi......I'm back from my hols to share some more Christmas makes I made recently for the demo at Papercrafts, Elgin :)

The 1st make is a cute gift card holder for Christmas.......just big enough to slot in a credit card size gift card which pops up when the holder is opened. It is held together with a belly band of cardstock which I have decorated with a spellbinder die from the Asian Accents set.

The gorgeous papers are not actually Christmas papers but the colours work great for Christmas.....they are Cosmo Cricket - Tea for Two.

I am entering it into Winter Wonderland's Anything but a Card challenge.

This card uses the same snowflake set I used for the blue/silver card a couple of blog posts down :)

A clean and simple card.......stamping the snowflakes in reds/browns and using the sentiment from the same Personal Impressions set too. Simply matted on red card to finish.

I am entering my card into Charisma Cardz #41 - Clean & simple challenge.

I Love Promarkers #139 ~ Anything Goes....

Morning!! A nice and easy challenge this week over at I Love Promarkers :)

'Anything Goes'.....

I decided to use a long forgotten bear from my stamp box :) I do love the Forever Friends bears and I dont use them enough!!

I coloured the bear as always with promarkers and prismas in warm autumny colours and the papers are from my scrap box. The letters and gems are Papermania.

I Love Promarkers #138 ~ Halloween...

Morning! It's 'Halloween' time today over at I Love Promarkers :)

We would love to see all your halloween themed cards, spooky or cute!

As you can see mine is more cute than spooky :) The image is by Stamp Fairy who are sponsoring the challenge this week with a $10 gift certificate to be won.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and the dotty paper is a halloween paper from many years ago. The sentiment is cut from a piece of paper from the same kit :)

I have doodled the frame and added buttons and fancy corners to finish.

Silver Snowflakes....

Hi! I'm here to share a card I made for a Christmas demo this weekend at Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin. Quite appropiate to be making and sharing cards on World Cardmaking day :)

This card uses a gorgeous snowflake stamp set from Personal Impressions......I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest to try this masking technique. I cut a template out to ink through with Distress Inks (tumbled glass and broken china) and overstamped the snowflakes with versamark and silver embossing powder.

Finished with tiny gems and a sentiment stamped in the same distress ink colour.

Penny Black Saturday October Challenge - Sketch...

Morning!! Time for a new challenge today at Penny Black Saturday :)

Seems ages since our last challenge!

I have used some new papers I bought recently with a prize win over at Sketch Saturday :)

I bought these lovely Cosmo Cricket papers and a Whimsy stamp from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.

The paper pad is called 'Baby Jane' and it's full of lovely colours and small patterns.....perfect for card-making.

The PB stamp is a 'slapstick' one called 'Hello Dear'.......one of my favourites :) Love these little mice. I have coloured the image as always with promarkers and prismas and used buttons and a wooden flower for embellishments. The fancy corners are a Whimsy die.

'Autumn Colours'....

I love autumn and all the rich colours so I really enjoyed making my card this week :)

I have gone for an autumn image too......love this teddy battling the elements!! The stamp is by Joan Elliott at Ladybugandfriends and the papers are 'Hampstead' by Papermania.
