Spoonfull of Sugar - For you....

I have made this card for this week's challenge over at a Spoonfull of Sugar which is to make a card using punches or die-cuts. I have used my new leaf punch and a circle punch to make the inverted corners on the matting.

I am sending this card tomorrow to my partner in the April Friendship card swap over on the Docrafts forum, I hope you like it Sue :0)

I have coloured the gorjuss girl with my prisma's to match the backing paper which is gorgeous and sparkly! and used matching flowers and alpha stickers.

DDC#15 & Perfect Pastels...

The challenge over at DoubleDutch this fortnight is to make a 'teabag', easy to follow instructions are on the site :0) I have used pastel colours also to enter this week's challenge from PaperTakeWeekly.

The papers are DCWV Floral Prints stack and the gorjuss girl image is coloured with promarkers.

I have added a thank-you tag and a flower as I have given this to friend and fellow challenge blogger Eva to say thanks for some gorgeous papers she gave me at the weekend :0) I popped a little choccie rabbit inside too!! I hope you like it Eva :0)

I will definitely be making some more of these, easy and quick to make and you can dress them up simply or add lots of decoration, whatever you fancy!!

Sketch and Stash #8

I'm back!! Normal routine has resumed, visitors have gone and back to school for DS. It was a great Easter break though seeing family and friends and good weather too! which made it even better!!

So I've managed to make a card today!! Hurrah!

I was inspired by Lisa's card from the Sketch and Stash DT to use this stamp from my new Magnolia Spring kit. The image is coloured with promarkers and highlighted with a white pen. The cute butterflies are from the same kit and the papers are Making Memories.

The little dew drops are new also from Patties Pretties at http://www.kirstywiseman.com/

I should be able to do a few challenges this week :0) so I will be back soon!!

Easter wishes....

Well I managed to get an hour last night to make a Easter card! It all came together pretty quickly as I had the cute image already coloured in and I used the fab sketch #7 from Sketch and Stash for my layout :0)

The new stash element for the above challenge is the image which I stamped at a friends, and the Woodware punch (Grass) which I used for the leaves around the prima flowers.

The papers are American Crafts (floral) and a couple from the Daisy and Dandelion paper pad.

Hectic Week!

Well all good intentions to fit some crafting in this week has been and gone LOL! I have had a hectic week ferrying DS to football training everyday and getting the house all spick and span for my mum and dad, who arrived yesterday and are staying until Easter w/e in my craft room ie: the spare room :0)
So I cant see much crafting going on next week either!!! But I have my fingers crossed I might get to make one card, I miss crafting sooo much!!!
On the plus side we had a lovely day out today to Braemar in Royal Deeside, caught a glimpse of Balmoral Castle on the way and some spectacular scenery over the mountains and a yummy lunch out :0) so that was lovely.

Card for Mia..

A card for my niece Mia :0) to send along with some Easter goodies :0)

I have used another of Dawny's fab sketches from PaperTakeWeekly, sketch #11 along with the theme over at CuteCardThursday which is a card for a family member :0)

I have used this cute Hanglar image I received in a swap coloured with promarkers and all the papers and sentiments are freebies from a cardmaking mag!

I might not be blogging quite as often for the next couple of weeks as Easter hols have started here in Scotland and we have visitors coming in a week too. Still want to fit a few challenges in though :0) and I want to use my new nesties I got yesterday too, labels 2, cant wait to use them!!

Spring Hedgie!

My card for 2 challenges!! There are so many great challenges now :0) I just cant get round them all!!

I have used sketch #14 from DoubleDutch Challenges combined with the theme at Penny Black Saturday this week of 'doodling'. I have used a circle for my image though as I dont have any ovals :(

I still had these papers on my desk from the Easter card I made so I used them again!! They are lovely spring colours and matched this cute hedgie well :0)

Image coloured with prisma's and sansador and the sentiment is Penny Black too.
