Penny Black Saturday #138 - Pretty in Pink...

A 'pink' challenge this week over at Penny Black Saturday :)

We would love to see all your 'Pretty in Pink' cards....

I have gone for a clean & simple look again....with no patterned papers this time and just some pearls for embellishment :)

I love this sweet image and thought it would be perfect for the pink challenge although I could'nt help sneaking a bit of green in for contrast!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers with prismas for shading :)

I have used one of the adorable 'Spoonful' images and this sweetie is called 'Nellie'.

I love this colour combo....I coloured the image with promarkers and prismas for shading and found these gorgeous papers by K & Co to coordinate.

Crafting with 'white space'...

I was inspired to make today's card by the new reader challenge over on the

Penny Black Inc. blog :)

Denise has sent the challenge to use the white space on your card as a primary element....you can check out all the details {HERE}

Denise and the PB DT are showcasing 'white space' cards and there are some stunning cards to inspire!

So this is my interpretation :)

I have used the fab 'You're the Bestest' cat stamp and really enjoyed colouring in this sweet kitty....the image is coloured with promarkers and keeping to the 'white space' theme I have just added a small strip of coordinating yellow dp to set the image off.

Penny Black Saturday #137 - Love is...

Time for a new challenge from Penny Black Saturday!

'Love is...???' Finish the phrase on your card.



I have used a new sweet teddy I managed to get 1/2 price in the sales...I knew it would be perfect for this challenge :)

I experimented with my promarkers to colour the cute teddy and used different colours to the usual....I went for sandstone, caramel and umber for shadows.
My favourite hearts embossing folder was used again and I computer generated the sentiment :)

We have the lovely Helen joining us this month as Guest Designer...I know Helen is a huge Penny Black fan so do pop over to her blog to see all Helen's fabulous PB creations :)

Teddy Stampers ~ Guest Designer!!

A little bit of news today :) I was asked by the lovely Jerusha over at Teddy Stampers to join them for the month of February as Guest Designer :)

I was thrilled to be asked as I do LOVE my teddy stamps! and Teddy Stampers always have fun challenges!

I was lucky to be given this gorgeous sweet dragon and teddy digi stamp to use for the challenge :)

I had great fun colouring in this wee dragon with his teddy for my card! I've never coloured a dragon before!!

I have used a fresh pink/green colour combo and embossed the background with lots of hearts and a love sentiment to keep to the theme :)

Fairy Gifts...

A bright & cheerful Squiggle Fairy card to share today :)
I bought the gorgeous glittery papers from TKMaxx at the weekend, a huge pad of  We R Memory papers for a bargain price :)
The colours are lovely and were the inspiration for the fairy colours!!
I have added lots of stickles to the crown and wings too.
