Penny Black Saturday #148 ~ 'Happily Ever After'...

A new challenge today over at Penny Black Saturday :)

Inspired by the Royal Wedding the challenge is.....

'Happily Ever After'....create a wedding/love/anniversary card etc.

I have used this cute kissing hedgie couple from Penny Black and coloured the image with promarkers :)

The 'love you' sentiment is a SRM sticker and I have doodled dots around my image to match the sticker!

A pretty pastel colour combo challenge this week over at the By LORi Designs Challenge blog :)

Perfect for spring......I dont often use pastel colours and struggled to find some co-ordinating papers until I found these gorgeous papers which were a freebie with a magazine....I think they are from Craftwork Cards :)

Here are this week's colours ~

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and added some flowers also from Craftwork Cards.

 I have used the fab sketch from CES Challenges

Still Here!!

Just a quick Hello! to let you know I'm still here :) I have had a very hectic couple of weeks with the work going on in the kitchen.....we are halfway there....still need flooring and tiling and decorating.....but I have managed to make a card today for the new colour challenge starting on Thursday over at LORi Boyd Challenges so I will be back :)

LORi has just released some new images this last week too......available {HERE}

Love the little chef girl :)

Penny Black Saturday #146 ~ Say it with Flowers....

Morning! Time for a new challenge over at Penny Black Saturday :)

I really enjoyed making my card for this week's challenge.....

'Say it with Flowers'...

I used one of my favourite Penny Black teddies and coloured with promarkers and prismas in sunny colours. I have embossed the white layer with a butterfly embossing folder and the best wishes along the bottom is a sticker from SRM.

By LORi Designs Challenge #12 ~ BLDC12....

I'm still here!! Sorry for the long absence but we have lots of joiners/plumbers/electricians here at the moment in preparation for our new kitchen/flooring etc. being installed next week after the BIG flood last Christmas!!

It has taken soooo long for the insurance/quotes etc. but we are on the home straight now.....I cant wait!!!! We have'nt had a kitchen for 5 weeks now and the microwave meals lost their appeal after week 1 :)

Anyway onto my card for this week's pretty colour combo challenge #12 from By LORI Designs....

love the pinks with the grey :)

I have coloured sweet Baby Addy with promarkers in shades of pink and grey and used a fab spotty paper I found in my stash :) Finishing with lots of small retro pink flowers with pearl centres :)

A fabulous sketch challenge today at Penny Black Saturday :)

The lovely Domi has created this sketch for us to follow....I do love a good sketch! Always a good starting point to get your mojo going :)

I have used Betsy Bluebell from PB for my card and coloured her in bright colours to match the papers with promarkers and prismas.

There's a new challenge up over at By LORi Designs and it's a fabulous colour combo this week as always :)

It's Team A's week to showcase the colours but I wanted to use the cute Landon PuddleJumper image and the colours are perfect for him :) So I had to join in!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and embossed the bottom mat with a plaid embossing folder.....finishing with buttons, I love buttons on 'boy' cards!!
