Penny Black Saturday #196 ~ CASE It.....Helen

Morning! It's 'CASE It' week over at the Penny Black Saturday challenge today :)

We have a gorgeous card from Helen to case and inspire.....

 I love Helen's style and her floral cards are always beautiful.....I dont use my floral PB stamps very often but I was inspired to use this one for the 1st time!!! It's called 'Sparklers'.

No colouring involved :) I just coloured the stamp with Tombow markers and stamped staight onto the paper.

I have cased pretty much all of Helen's card!!! I love the colour combo, the embossing and layout and just added my own touch with the butterflies :)

We have 2 great prizes this week.......from Penny Black and The Ribbon Girl, so you have to be in it to win it :)

Finally a big welcome to Kelly.....our lucky winner of a GDT spot for May.......Congrats Kelly :)

Penny Black Saturday #195 ~ Sing-a-Long.....

It's Penny Black Saturday!! and this week we want you to all......

'Sing-a-Long'....

We would love to see your cards and projects using music-themed images or choose one of your favourite songs to feature as the theme of your project :)

I went for one of my favourite 'music' images from Penny Black called 'Joyful Abandon'.......the puddy cats look like they are having so much fun!!!

I have coloured as always with promarkers and prismas and kept the colours and layout simple as I think this image is great for those difficult mens cards!!

I used my new paper piercing guide from SU to do the pierced edge design :) Finishing with some co-ordinating twine and a button for embellishment. 

We have something a little different for the prize this week too........one lucky winner will be invited to join us for the month of May as......

Penny Black Saturday #194 ~ Easter EGGstravaganza!!

Morning!! I'm back........apologies for the long absence but I've been feeling under the weather the last couple of weeks and I have done NO crafting!! I must have been feeling ill!

I think the brighter, warmer weather has perked me up the last few days and I'm looking forward to a lovely, sunny weekend here in Scotland :)

Anyway I have made a card for today's fab Penny Black Saturday challenge......

'Easter EGGstravaganza'...

I love Easter cards, I dont make too many but I love the ones I do make :)

I have used a cute PB bunny stamp called 'Eggceedingly Happy' and coloured as always with my promarkers and prismas. I have used bright, colourful papers and the little Easter Bunny tag is from a We r Memory Keepers paper pad.

Penny Black Saturday #192 - The Young Ones....

Morning!! We have a fun challenge today for you over at Penny Black Saturday!

'The Young Ones'.......a card for a child :)

I have chosen a cute hedgie image......love these 2 on the seesaw!!

The image is coloured as always with promarkers and prismas and the bright papers and embellishments are from a We r Memory Keepers paper pad.

Love these colours and papers together and I think the 'fun' sentiment echoes the fun the hedgies are having!!

I have chalked in the sky background :)

Baby.....

I'm back to share a couple of the projects I made for the demo day @ Papercrafts in Elgin :)

I got to play with the ever so cute Forever Friends stamps called 'New Arrival'....a great set of clear stamps with 3 large bear stamps and loads of smaller accessory stamps and sentiments.

The altered canvas above I really enjoyed making, the papers are Forever Friends too.....the Springtime pack. I cut out the name/numbers with an old Sizzix alphabet and had fun adding all the girly touches :)

For this card below I have used the Forever Friends papers again and made a sweet little babygro card. The buttons I glittered using PVA glue and some dry glitter and the little cross-stitch stitching detail around the arms/legs is from the FF 'New Arrival' set.

Penny Black Saturday #191 ~ CASE It....Domi

Morning!! It's 'CASE IT' time over at Penny Black Saturday today.......

We are casing Domi's pretty card below ~

I have cased Domi's layout adding a few details of my own and decided to go bright and bold with my colours!!! I seem to have made quite a few pink cards recently so fancied a change :)

Cute kitty is from the 'Bubbly' transparent set and I have coloured with promarkers and prismas. 

The card blank I made using the largest blossom nestability but it is still only tiny!!

Demo Day.....

Apologies for the lack of posts again this week!!! but I have been busy crafting......making samples for the Mad March Demo Day tomorrow at Papercrafts in Elgin :)
