Manga Kids...

I bought one of the new cute Manga Kids yesterday :0) from Sugar Nellie and had to use it straight away!!

I have used the sketch from PaperTakeWeekly for the layout and this week's colour combo from Passion For Promarkers of Ruby & Gold with the added twist of jewels and gems.

I have used co-ordinating Coredinations cardstock embossed in the Cuttlebug and distressed a little and the patterned paper is from my scrap box. The image is coloured with promarkers (of course!) in the following colours -

Skin - Ivory and Blush

Hair - Warm Grey 1,2 & 3

Outfit - Ruby and Gold

Love the colour combo! Another great one from the girls at PFP :0)

This will be the last card from me for a couple of weeks as it's holiday time, yippee!! Hope to find a couple of craft shops on my travels and do a bit of shopping!! I'll be looking forward to crafting on my return :0)

Thanks for looking and happy crafting xx

Sugar Bowl #14 - Picking Apples...

Another late entry for the SugarBowl challenge from me :0) The 2 weeks just fly by!! but I had to take part as I love the sketch by Judy! The added option is 'sparkle' so I have used sparkly yellow/gold gems in the corners.

I have used the gorgeous 'picking apples' for the image coloured with promarkers and the papers are Bloom & Grow by My Mind's Eye. Love these papers especially the embossed ones :0)

Quick post again! Just fitting in computer time when I can now it's the summer hols!!

Thanks for looking xx

Polka Dot Anya!

Another Anya card! the last of the set :0) Had to use them all!

I have used sketch #60 from FridaySketchers by Heidi for the layout and the colour combo from Stampin' for the Weekend of 'strawberries dipped in chocolate' YUM!

Anya is coloured with promarkers and the papers and cardstock are Stampin Up. I have punched the centre panel with a new Fiskars Heart punch I picked up from a car boot sale for £1!!! a bargain :0)

I have finished with the gingham ribbon and the buttons tied with thread.

Born to shop!

Attempt 2 for the Passion for Promarkers challenge!! I totally forgot about the sketch and stormed ahead with my previous card!!

So here is my 'real' Passion for Promarkers entry using both the sketch and the gorgeous colour combo of cornflower and cocoa :0)

I have used the same papers as the last card - Making Memories Cosmopolitan and colours as follows - Cocoa, Cornflower and Sandstone/Umber for shading, blush and ivory for skin.

I am also going to enter this for the Paperplay Challenge of 'fashion'. My blogging buddy Dei is on the DT and set this week's challenge. I've not entered before :0) so here's my card Dei!

Thanks for looking again!

Gorjuss Girl with Bear.....

Love this image! so cute :0) This is my card for 3 challenges!! I have used sketch #14 from Sketch and Stash for the layout, the option being ribbon which you can just see! I have used neglected Making Memories Cosmopolitan papers I have had for years! because they went so well with the colour combo this week from Passion for Promarkers of Cornflower and Cocoa :)

The 3rd challenge is to use your 'favourite things' from Papertakeweekly, my fav's being my promarkers :0) and the blue/brown colour combo is an all time favourite of mine x

Colours used on image are -

Hair - sandstone, cocoa and umber

Skin - blush & ivory

Dress & boots - cornflower and cocoa

Bear - sandstone and cocoa

Friday Sketchers #59

A card for my niece's birthday this week :0) I have used Claudia's gorgeous sketch #59 from Fridaysketchers for the layout. The papers and card blank are all from a Cosmo Cricket QVC TSV and I finished by adding the gems and sentiment - a freebie from the last Docrafts mag.

This is my 1st Anya card! I just got the stamps this weekend and they are fab! Dont know why I waited so long to get them. Great to colour and perfect for girly cards for all ages :0)

The image is coloured with promarkers and I tried to give her red/auburn hair the same as my niece :) I used apricot and coral as I did'nt want to go too red/orange!! What colours does everyone else use for red/auburn hair???

Anyway thanks for looking xx
