Happy Birthday Balloons...

A 'girly' card today using another cute digi image from LORi Boyd Designs :)

The image is 'Hazel' from the Bug & Roo range....

The image is coloured with promarkers and in a bid to use up my paper mountain!!! I have used some patterned paper from an old Dovecraft?? pad I think!! I love these colours together :)

Twit a Woo Owl....

A 'Squiggle Stamps' card to share today :)

I was browsing through all my digi images and saw the cute 'Owlies' stamp which I have'nt used for ages so......I have made a bright, bold card using just one of the owls from the digi stamp.

The fab papers are from a We r Memory Keepers pad and I have followed the wonderful sketch #97 over at the Sweet Stop Sketches challenge blog for the layout.

The image is coloured with promarkers and I have added a little glossy accents to his eyes too :)

I am also entering my card into Colour Create's 'Fruity' colour challenge #65.....I have used banana, orange & apple!

Penny Black Saturday #140 - Pearls and Lace...

Another fabulous challenge this week over at Penny Black Saturday :)

Challenge #140 is 'Pearls & Lace'....

I have used the cute 'Betsy Bluebell' transparent set to create a bright, fun Easter card.

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and the lovely strip of glittery paper is W r Memory Keepers . The 'Happy Easter' sentiment is handwritten!!

The bottom of the card I have debossed with a Sizzix Christmas embossing folder!!

I dont have any traditional lace....so used a bright blue lacy ribbon instead :)

My DT card for this week's Colour Challenge over at By LORi Designs Challenge :)

I love this challenge....it's great to try new colour combo's which I would never have thought of!!

Here are the colours this week....

I have used Ella from the Lollipop range.....love her dotty dress :)

I have coloured the image with promarkers and prismas and ended up just using a small strip of floral paper.

Simple Spring card....

There are a lot of 'Spring/Easter' challenges at the moment so I thought I'd have a go at a CAS (clean & simple) Spring card :)

I have used a very old Penny Black stamp from 1999!! called Blossom Circle 1418K and stamped it in SU Sage Shadow ink adding a little water to add to the watercolour effect.

I have also added a little Regal Rose ink to the tiny flowers with a waterbrush.....then I got busy with my tiny flower punches to add more flowers to the image...finishing with pearl centres :)

{The yellow flowers are a lot paler IRL!! I cant seem to get a good photo}

Penny Black Saturday #139 - Cards for Men...

It's a 'Cards for Men' challenge this week over at Penny Black Saturday :)

Always a challenging challenge!! for me anyways!

I have used one of the older Penny Black images called 'Fly Away'....

and coloured the image with promarkers and prismas, the papers and elements are all from my scrapbox :)

I had to include a button as they always feature on my mens cards :)

I have used this week's sketch #178 from Mojo Monday for the layout and I have added some embossed vellum so I can enter the 'Vellum' challenge over at the Penny Black Inc. blog too  :)

Teddy Stampers Challenge #30 - Colour Challenge...

I'm back with my 2nd GDT card for Teddy Stampers :)

Challenge #30 is a lovely colour combo of Pink, Brown & White.....

I love these colours!!

I have used one of my favourite Penny Black teddy bear stamps called 'Imagine'....I coloured the image with promarkers and prisma's and the papers and cardstock were all from my scrapbox :)

I have followed sketch #55 from Sketch & Stash for the layout.....and my new stash is the lovely pearl ribbon slider and the craftwork cards sentiment.
