Hat, Umbrella, Boots - Lemon and Canary for shadow.

Coat- Meadow Green and Apple for shadow.

Water - Cool Aqua and Pastel Blue for the shading around the image.

Hair - Sandstone and Cinnamon.
Skin - Ivory and Blush.

Just Magnolia #11 - Bev's Sketch...

A fab sketch this week from Bev over at Just Magnolia :0) I have combined the sketch with the Tilda challenge over on the Docrafts forum which is to use only black & yellow!! I was a bit daunted by this but I love how the card turned out!

I have used an older Tilda who's been neglected for quite a while :0) and coloured with promarkers. I used Rach's fab 'out of bounds nestie' tutorial and managed not to chop Tilda's head off so thanks Rach x

The bright & breezy paper is DCWV and I created the flowers with retro punches. I finished by adding a few yellow gems to the flowers and the buttons on Tilda's jacket.

Thanks for looking xx

Friday Sketchers #57

My card using the fab sketch #57 by Bea from FridaySketchers. I have combined the sketch with a Tilda challenge over at the Docrafts forum which is to use -

Black, white and silver + 1 other colour, a torn edge and 3 different embellishments.

I have coloured Tilda with promarkers in monochrome with a hint of red! I was inspired by Judy from JudysCraftyMoments who was demo-ing her fabulous colouring at Simply Create in Alford last Saturday. So I thought I'd give it a go, thanks Judy x
Papers are DCWV and Bo Bunny and I have used my retro flower punches and a mulberry rose to finish.

Also I have received the Lovely Blog award from Janny :0) (see sidebar) Janny created some beautiful and inspiring projects with her Diane Duda stamp for the Sugar Nellie Blog hop last week, pop over and check them out if you missed them, they are fabulous!!! Teddy with Balloon....

I have had lots of help and inspiration with this card!! The layout is this week's sketch from Sketch Saturday, the colour combination over at Passion For Promarkers is cinnamon and pumpkin (which I love!) and the theme today at 'Stamp with Fun' is dotty, which influenced my choice of papers! So a 3 in 1 challenge card today :0)

The papers are a mix of SU and Daisy Bucket and the cute bear is from Elzybells.

The promarker colours I have used are -

Cinnamon for the bear, with Cocoa for shadows

Apricot and Pumpkin for the balloon

Rose Pink and Blossom for the paws and butterflies and Moss for the grass.

I have highlighted with a white inkssentials pen.

I enjoyed making this card :0) Thanks for looking xx

Cute as a Button Bunny!

My card for the SugarBowl challenge #12. Great sketch by Lia this time with an option of using blue and green. Perfect for this baby boy card I needed to make :0)

I have used baby bunny from the Little Cotton Rabbits set, coloured with promarkers and cut out using my label nesties.

The papers are all from my scrap box! and I embossed the cardstock with the swiss dots folder in the cuttlebug.
The 'cute as a button' embellie is 'K & Co' and I added a couple more buttons to finish :0)

Flower Power Girl.....

Back again! the week's are really flying by at the moment!!

This card covers 2 challenges :0) I am last minute as usual! for the Passion for Promarkers #2 which is to use apple & pastel pink as your main colours, I have stuck to this colour scheme for the papers as well and coloured this Gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie with blond hair for a change too.

The layout is this week's sketch #12 from Sketch and Stash. I am very early for this challenge!! it was only posted this morning :0)

My new stash is the large retro punch I have used on the corner flower, I have wanted one of these for ages and managed to get one in a fabulous new craft shop which has opened locally called Simply Create in Alford, Aberdeenshire. Definitely worth a visit :0)

The papers are Laura Ashley and I have used a Woodware Daisy punch along the bottom of the image and finished with gems x

Sketch and Stash #11...

My card for challenge #11 from the girls over at Sketch and Stash :0) A great sketch I will definitely use again!
I have used my newest Penny Black stamp in my collection! and combined it with K & Co sparkly sweet paper, coredinations cardstock and my doily lace punch.
I finished by adding some paper piercing and the little gems to the flowers.

The 2nd card is sketch #10 from Sketch and Stash that I never managed to get uploaded :0(
I used the sketch at my recent cardmaking demo to show how you can combine papers from the same range and how quick and easy it is to follow a sketch when your mojo has gone walkabout!!
So thanks S & S :0) Everything was new on this card! as it was given to me to use at the demo.
I fell in love with the mouse stamp though and had to buy him LOL!
ETA - I am entering these cards for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog too, the theme is 'Animals' and if they have over 100 entries (they are very close!) a donation will be made to an animal charity and you also have a chance of a $25 shopping spree with Simon says Stamp!
