Just Cute Bears #17 - Recipe...

A little recipe from Just Cute Bears this week :)

- 3 brads, 2 papers and 1 ribbon...

I have used K & Co papers to create a patchwork effect behind the very cute Elzybells bear.

The image is coloured with promarkers and I used my nesties to cut and mount. I very nearly struggled with the brads!! I dont tend to use brads very often but luckily I found a neglected box of these pretty shades of pink/purple brads in my embellishments box!

Someone Special....

I bought this beautiful Leanne Ellis stamp from my local craft shop a few weeks ago now and I've been wanting to colour it ever since!!

Well I had a spare hour this morning so I got colouring!! I coloured the image with promarkers to match the gorgeous papers from Three bugs in a rug.

I love these colours together :)

I have used a doily for the 1st time on my card, thanks Tammi!! and I have added spica glitter to her dress, gloves and flower. Close-up below :)

Strawberry Cupcakes!!

A strawberry themed card for my Squiggle Wednesday post today ;)

I have used the cute 'Cupcake Girl' rubber stamp for my card which is the 'Stamp of the Month' just now, available @ half price, only £2.25!!

I love this little cutie for bright, fun birthday cards. I have used a yummy fruity themed kit I bought a while ago to make this card, I love the strawberry paper and all the fun chipboard shapes and flowers.

The image is coloured with promarkers in the following colours -

Skin - ivory, blush

Hair - tulip yellow, mustard, gold

Outfit - blossom, rose pink, bright green, grass, ruby

Cupcake - oatmeal, apricot, vanilla, pastel yellow, pale pink, baby pink

Outline - powder blue

Just Cute Bears #16 - Multifold cards...

Morning everyone! What a morning I've had!! My broadband stopped yesterday :( This morning it was back on but I still could'nt connect but after 45 mins to a very helpful call centre I'm back!! Hopefully???

So it's time for another challenge from Just Cute Bears! This week the challenge is a

'multifold card'.

I could'nt decide what fold to do! so after a browse around the SplitcoastStampers site, great for many, many tutorials, I decided on a spring card :)

I have used this gorgeous 'Cuthbert' bear image from Tales from Pollycraft for my card. He was a Friday freebie and I managed to grab him as it was only available for 24 hours! More teddy designs are going to be released tomorrow and they are all fabulous!!!

The card base is made from Bazzill Bling and I used scraps for the rest of the card as it's only small about 5 1/4" square.

I will definitely make one of these cards again, it's good to try something new :)

'Rachel, Little Angel'.....

A rare Friday post from me :) I started this card last weekend colouring the sweet little image which is a new special digi-stamp from Elisabeth Bell - you can find her {HERE}.

I coloured 'Rachel, Little Angel' as soon as I had printed it out in colours which were just on my desk at the time! Today I managed to finish my card and luckily found some papers to match!

The papers, sentiment and little flowers are from a Cosmo Cricket set and I coloured the image in the following promarkers -

Hair - buttercup, pastel yellow, mustard

Skin - ivory & blush

Outfit - red, berry red, denim blue, cornflower

Wings - cool grey 1,2,3 & stickles

Dotty Background - pastel blue, powder blue & denim blue

I am entering the card into the following challenges -

Totally Gorjuss - Stitching - I used the blue card for matting and white stitching so it looked a little like denim to match the dungarees!

PaperTakeWeekly #40 - I used the fab sketch for the layout :)

'Get Krafty' - Gifts Galore....

It's a new month so time for a new prize challenge over on the Squiggle Stamps blog :)

It is my turn to set the challenge and so the theme this month is to 'Get Krafty' and use KRAFT on your card/project.

I decided to use the fab 'Gifts Galore' image for my card and went for a Kraft/Pink/Brown colour combo using 3 different papers in those colours.

The image is coloured with promarkers in coordinating colours too! with white highlights using my gel pen :0)

Dont worry if you dont have any Kraft - why not recycle and use an old manila envelope or a brown paper bag?

Just Cute Bears #15 - Buttons & Bows...

A fabulous challenge from Just Cute Bears this week - Buttons & Bows...

I have used this gorgeous LOTV bear for my card, colouring as always with promarkers in colours to match the patterned papers.

The papers are K & Co 'Wild Raspberry' and the cardstock & ribbon are SU.

I love the red/teal colours together and I've kept the layout simple to showcase the lovely bear!
