Just Cute Bears #10 - Easter!!

An 'Easter' challenge this week from Just Cute Bears!!

I have used one of my new Milton Bear stamps from Wild Rose Studio for my card. The wheelbarrow is normally full of flowers! but I loved the idea of filling it with Easter eggs ;) so I did'nt ink up the flowers and made the Easter eggs using a small balloon punch!

Card Ingredients -

Pretty floral paper - American Crafts

Cardstock - SU

Martha Stewart double loop punch

+ promarkers, mini flowers & stickles.

The Easter holidays have begun here in Scotland :) so I am having a little blogging break as we are going to be busy visiting family and enjoying some quality time together :0)

Bouncing Bunny!!

Another spring creation today!! I like to make spring/Easter cards to give along with the chocolate eggs for my nieces & nephews :)

I have used this very cute bouncing bunny from LOTV and coloured him in the following -

Bunny - cool grey 1,2,3 & putty

Flowers etc. - tulip yellow, gold, bright green, forest, powder blue & aztec blue

I have added stickles to the fluffy tail and ears and the flowers.

The glittery flower paper is DCWV and I have used Coredinations cardstock for the rest of the card. I finished by adding gems to the punched flowers and a (sshh) peel-off sentiment!!

Spring is in the Air!!

A spring card today! I have definitely seen signs of spring in my garden at long last!! So this cute Spring bear from DigiStamp Boutique is perfect for all the spring-themed challenges this week!

The papers are from a pack I have had for years and is missing the front cover?? and I have finished with the cheery yellow gingham ribbon and sentiment x

Just Cute Bears #9 - Sketch by Jane...

A fabulous sketch challenge this week from Just Cute Bears :)

I have used a digi bear stamp called 'Bridget Thanks' this week.

This very cute bear is a freebie image from 'Tales from Pollycraft' to celebrate reaching 600 followers!! Thank you Paula x

I have coloured 'Bridget' with promarkers and the gorgeous papers are Bo Bunny. I cut a flower from the paper for the bottom right corner embellishment and added some gems to the flowers and in 'Bridget's' hat.

Pretty window...

A 'just because' card today!

I wanted to use another of my new digi stamps I purchased recently from {HERE}

I love this stamp, it is called 'pretty window' and it is great to colour in, so many different colour combo's you could use :)

I have coloured the image with promarkers and added a little glitter to the centre of the flowers. The gorgeous patterned paper is K & Co Wild Raspberry and the cardstock is Coredinations Gemstones which I have embossed with swiss dots.

A quick card from me today :) I wanted to make a little notecard to accompany some crafty stash I am giving to a young crafter to be!

I have used this week's colour combo from Passion for Promarkers of 'bright green & mango' for my inspiration and choice of papers.

The cute image is one of the new digi's from Squiggle Stamps, you can find it {HERE}, I have coloured using the following promarkers -

Hair - pastel yellow & gold

Skin - ivory & blush

Outfit, flowers & grass - mango, amber, pumpkin, bright orange, lime zest, lime green & bright green.

Basket - apricot & honeycomb

Papers are MME Bloom & Grow and I added the buttons as a finishing touch x

Just Cute Bears #8 - All White....

A great challenge this week from Just Cute Bears - use all white :0)
I love this technique as it really makes your coloured image pop and be

the main focus of your card!

I have used my new Milton Bear from Wild Rose Studio for this card, how cute?

I have coloured him in promarkers using different shades of brown to usual for a change! The rest of the card is just plain white cardstock which I usually stamp onto, embossed in different Cuttlebug folders :)

The main image and mat I have also edged in glitter and mounted on 3-d foam.

Reflective...

I inked up this cute Sugar Nellie stamp called 'Reflective' the other day for a swap and thought I have'nt used this one in ages!! so I inked one up for me and made this card :)

I have coloured the image with promarkers adding highlights with my white pen. Papers are by Bo Bunny and I finished with the green gems and the 'dream' epoxy sticker from K & Co which suits this image well I think :0)

A card for the following challenges -

'Flower Power' over at Cupcake Craft Challenges :)

I have just recently got myself a new printer so this opens up a whole new world of digi stamping for me!!! I found this gorgeous daffodil digi image over at the Sketching Stamper Digi Stamps blog {HERE} and thought it would be perfect for spring/Mother's Day cards and had to have it!

I really enjoyed colouring the flowers and I used the following promarkers -

Flowers - buttercup, tulip yellow, sunflower & gold

Leaves - lime zest, lime green & emerald

Outline - pastel blue & powder blue

I added stickles to the inside of the flowers too :)

I have kept the rest of the card simple with just a little embossing and ribbon to finish so the image is the main focus of the card!

I thought this Penny Black bear with a huge bunch of flowers would be perfect! The bright spring colours are inspired by the colours in the MME papers. I have added lots of gems and an epoxy 'love' sticker from K & Co to finish :)

It's a busy day today at Squiggle HQ! Today see's the release of 6 new digi stamps!
