Penny Black Saturday #166 ~ Sketch....

Morning! I'm a little late posting today's challenge from Penny Black Saturday!!

Just could'nt get connected to the internet!!!

So this week we have a wonderful sketch to follow by the talented Nat :) Thanks Nat!

I do love a good sketch to follow....and this one is fab :)

I had a good rummage through my Penny Black stamps and found this cutie which I dont think I have ever used! I won it with another PB stamp on Ebay.....it's called 'Fairy Love' and it's from 1999!!

I have coloured the image with promarkers, used scraps of papers from my scrap box and added some embossing and then finished with the retro flowers which I have embossed also :)

Glitter Mermaid.....

Today I am sharing a very glittery card which fits in perfectly with the current challenge over at

'Squiggle Stamps'.....Glam & Glitz!

I have used the lovely Mermaid digi image coloured with promarkers......and then the fun part!!

I have used Stampin Up's Heat & Stick powder to glitter the whole image....love this technique and I think it looks like she is underwater :) I do have glitter everywhere though!!

Penny Black Saturday #165 - Shabby Chic....

Morning :) Apologies for not blogging again this week!!

Time is running away from me just lately!

Anyway.....it's Saturday already!! so time for a new challenge from Penny Black Saturday....

'Shabby Chic'

I enjoyed making my shabby chic card....I went for pretty vintagey papers in soft colours and distressed the edges of my mat with scissors and inked all the edges. Reminds me of an old quilt :)

The gorgeous PB image is coloured with promarkers and prismas & the papers were freebies from a craft mag.

There is a fabulous stamp to be won this week......from our lovely ex teamie Carole :)

Penny Black Saturday #164 ~ Touchy Feely....

Morning!! A new challenge from Penny Black Saturday today :)

'Touchy Feely'.....

A chance to use all your embossing folders/lace/buttons etc. for a textured feel to your project!

I have used this gorgeous PB fishing bear image which was sent to me by a good blog friend :)

Love it! It's on my wish list now!! It's a large image and perfect for those men cards!!

I have coloured in the image with promarkers and prismas......and for the texture I have embossed the patterned paper with an argyle embossing folder, used embroidery cotton to attach the tag and I also added glitter to the fish and pearls for the bears/fish eyes!!

We have a fabulous $20 voucher from 1-2-3-Stitch for this week's prize :)

Raggy Pony....

Afternoon! I'm back from my holidays :)

Had a lovely time but it's always good to be home!

Today I am sharing a card made with one of the *new* Goth Kidz range from Squiggle Stamps called...

'Raggy Pony'....

I have used the colour scheme of Pink & Black which the lovely Heidi has set for the new Squiggle challenge along with the option of lace. I did'nt manage the lace!!!
