I Love Promarkers #148 ~ Anything but a Square....

Morning! Not Christmas today :)

There's a new challenge at I Love Promarkers........'Anything but a Square'

Any theme just no squares :)

This challenge will last 2 weeks and take us into the new year, so plenty of time to join in during the Christmas holidays!

We are sponsored by Marianne Designs and there's a wonderful prize for the lucky winner.

For my card I have used the 'Sprinkle with Love' stamp from Sugar Nellie.......so cute! Not very original I'm afraid with it's shape! but it's not a square :)

The image is coloured with promarkers and prismas, mini punched flowers with pearls added and the papers were freebies with a craft mag, they are Christmas papers actually!!

Do check out all the DT cards over at the blog.....there's some great & different shapes to inspire you!

I am entering my card into the 'Pick of the Year' challenge at PaperTakeWeekly.......I chose 'For the Girls' from March 2012 :)

Thanks for looking xx

Little Apprentice....

Today I am sharing a card I made for a Handmade card swap over on the Sugar Nellie group's Facebook page :) My swap partner has received the card now so I can share :)

I have used an ever so cute Sugar Nellie stamp called 'Little Apprentice'. The image is great fun to colour and I've gone for a traditional red/green colour combo but I think the gorgeous papers from Echo Park make the card look modern. Love these papers.....love stripes and spots :)

I am entering my card into Charisma Cardz #49 - Christmas Makes.....

I have one more Christmas card to share :) and then back to the norm........birthdays etc.

Thanks for looking xx

Penny Black Saturday December Challenge......

Morning!! It's December already! so time for a new challenge from

Penny Black Saturday

'Glitter & Sparkle'

Time to get out all your glitter and bling and create a sparkly creation.......it can be any theme, not just Christmas :)

I have used my all-time favourite snowman stamp from Penny Black, it's a slapstick stamp. I have coloured with promarkers and then used Heat & Stick powder from Stampin' Up to cover the whole image with fine glitter. It really does sparkle.......the photo above does it no justice. See below for a close-up!

I have made a tag for a change and will use this on one of my special family presents.

The lovely heart paper is from the 'Home for Christmas' range at Docrafts.

There's an array of fabulous prizes to be won this month so do check out the blog for all the details and to see all the glittery DT creations :)

Thanks for looking, have a great weekend ........it's snowing here in the North of Scotland, so I plan on keeping warm and crafting!!!

For my card I have used stamps from the Docrafts Lucy Cromwell range called 'Teacups'. I have masked together 4 seperate stamps from the set to create this pretty scene!

The sentiment is from the same set too!
