Christmas Comes Early....

Hello......I'm back today to share some cards I made for a demonstration over at
the wonderful Creative Boutique in Aberdeenshire last weekend :)
I had a lovely day....met lots of new crafty faces, it was great to see so many people at the demo especially when it was such a beautiful day!

I was demoing the gorgeous new 'Home For Christmas' range from Docrafts......fab papers and stamps with a 'nordic' feel to them. Fantastic quality too, the papers are really quite thick for a 6 x 6 pad and the stamps stamped beautifully :)
For this card I have cut an aperture with X-Cut dies and used some of the patterned papers underneath. The top layer I have created by embossing some Kraft with an inked embossing folder....a great way to use all your embossing folders a little differently :) The bauble is stamped and fussy cut, then mounted up on foam pads for dimension. The sentiment is from a new Personal Impressions set.......full of Christmas sentiments and is cut out using X-Cut tag dies.
For this card......one of my favourites! I love the bold red & white together :) I have kept it simple, stamping the fabulous tree and a PI sentiment in lovely Christmas red and matting and layering using more of the patterned papers and some red card.
And finally for today.....this quick and easy card was made using scraps of the patterned paper cut into ribbons with a ready printed die-cut tag. The cross stitch heart is actually a stamp which I took a step further by piercing the holes and over stitching with some thread :)

I have some more cards to share and a cute tag folder but I will blog them later in the week :) Hope you like my samples and all the ladies at the demo are busy using their new purchases :)

Thanks for looking xx

Enjoyed the demo Jenny and thank you very much for all your ideas. Have not yet used the goodies purchased - maybe leave it until a day when all my crafty buddies can meet up and we can all play.
